Mom has always been a house wife but she would always take care of herself.. wearing nice clothes and make up.
Since Dad left and son moved out she has let herself go.
Stopped going gym, wears sweat pants every day and never does make up.
She’s gone depressed without knowing so son moves back in to try and get her back on her feet.
He doesn’t let on that he’s moved back to get her back to normal and makes up some excuse.
Over time he starts to suggest things to get her out the house,
starts with small things just to get her to dress a little more normal again and then over time suggests a date night as such and convinces her to put a nice dress on.
They talk a lot of about their old life and he really tries to get mom to open up but initially she’s very closed off.
Time passes and son keeps up his work at getting mom to start taking care of herself like she used too.
